Media Manager

A browser-only helper for the static Fasthosts edition. It reads a folder you choose locally; nothing is uploaded by this page.

Scan both media folders

Select the extracted website folder that contains images/ and videos/renders_v18/. The manager recursively finds supported media, shows local previews and creates a new media-manifest.js.

  1. Place still images anywhere beneath images/.
  2. Place videos anywhere beneath videos/renders_v18/. Supported browser formats include MP4, WebM and OGV.
  3. Optional video posters can sit beside a video with the same filename stem, or in a neighbouring posters/ folder.
  4. Choose the full extracted website folder above, then download the new manifest.
  5. Upload your media and replace media-manifest.js on Fasthosts using FTP or the file manager.
